Dispatch: Ad Networks Support for Cost on Links

Overview

In partnership with specific ad networks, Branch now supports ingesting cost data through Branch Ad Links with new parameters. Support for cost ingestion will give you a much more holistic view of your ad performance when looking at reports in the Branch Dashboard. This new capability will save time so you don't have to view individual ad network accounts to understand ROI on ad spend.

Required action:

For new campaigns, make sure you create a brand new Branch Ad Link to support cost data ingestion.

What will happen to my existing Branch Ad Links?
Your existing Branch Ad Links will still function as normal, but cost data for campaigns run with those Ad Links will not be ingested.

What happens if my ad network doesn't add currency to the Branch Ad Link?
Branch will assume that the currency is USD.

What is required for an ad network to support cost on links?
The ad network needs to be able to support the cost macro and the model in order for Branch to be able to enable cost on links for that ad network.
