Facebook has a dedicated endpoint for deep linking in app install campaign types that is not used for attribution. Branch will not attribute to links received from that endpoint, and instead, uses the official MMP endpoint for attribution. However, we've seen that some Facebook ad formats, including Video Ads and Re-engagement Ads, do trigger true link clicks and therefore can cause attribution conflicts.
To use links for deep linking without attributing to the link, please append
%24deeplink_no_attribution=true to the link. If this parameter is used, then Branch will not attribute to that link and will instead use the MMP response in all cases.
