What is Intro?
Intro is a $39/mo plan that bundles attribution, deep linking, web links, and QR codes across all three Branch product verticals (Performance, Engagement, Activation) with lower volume limits than Basics plans.
Who is Intro for?
Teams getting started with mobile measurement and link management, or teams that need basic cross-vertical access without the volume of a full Basics plan.
Can I use Intro for app attribution?
Yes. Intro includes last-touch attribution with 5,000 volume credits/mo and 1 ad partner with 3 postbacks and ad links.
Can I use Intro for link management?
Yes. Intro includes 500 web links and/or customized QR codes per month with full QR customization, link folders, and AI-assisted short link creation.
Trial
Do I need to select a plan when I sign up?
No. You sign up with your work email and credit card, and you receive 30 days of full Basics access. You can designate your post-trial plan at any time.
What happens if I don't choose a plan before my trial ends?
You are automatically subscribed to Intro at $39/mo. All links, QR codes, and data from your trial are preserved.
Can I cancel during my trial?
Yes. If you cancel during your trial, you are not charged. Resubscribing after cancellation places you on Intro with no new trial.
Is there a credit card hold?
Yes. A $10 temporary hold is placed at signup and automatically refunded.
Billing
How do overages work?
If your usage exceeds your included limits, overage charges are calculated at Basics parity rates ($0.05/VC, $0.05/link or QR, $0.01/click) and added to your next invoice.
Is there a bill cap?
No. Overages are uncapped. If your usage regularly exceeds your limits, consider upgrading to a Basics plan.
When am I billed?
All accounts are billed on the 1st of the month. Your first month is prorated based on your signup date.
Upgrading and downgrading
What happens to my data if I downgrade from Basics to Intro?
All existing links, QR codes, and attribution data remain active. Features exclusive to your Basics plan become read-only or hidden.
Do I lose cross-vertical access if I upgrade to a single Basics plan?
No. Intro is bundled as a base layer with every Basics subscription. Upgrading is purely additive.
Can I have multiple Basics plans?
Yes. Each plan is billed separately. Volume credits do not stack across plans.
Features
Do I get deep linking on Intro?
Yes. Deep linking and deferred deep linking are core features included on all plans, including Intro.
Are add-ons available on Intro?
No. Add-ons (extra volume credits, email measurement, cohort reporting, data integrations) are available on Basics plans only.
Can I use a custom domain on Intro?
No. Custom branded domains require Activation Basics.
Can I use the Short Link API on Intro?
No. The Short Link API (web links only) requires Activation Basics. Deep link API access via Short Link API is available on Enterprise plans.
