While Branch's Custom Partners functionality is technically part of the Universal Ads product, many Branch customers use it to measure their owned channels. To provide continuity of service, Branch will treat these custom partners as owned channels by default, which means these will be exempted from limits on device-level data by default.
Please note: using a Custom Partner as a workaround for device-level ad attribution without user ATT opt-in likely puts you at risk for violation of Apple's tracking policies.
