Summary Analytics Page

Overview

The Summary Analytics Page provides a global overview of your most pertinent analytics across the Branch suite of products.

On the Summary page you can quickly view analytics for:

  • All Data (default view)
  • Journeys
  • Quick Links
  • Universal Ads
  • Universal Email

By default, the Summary page loads with the following options pre-selected:

  • View: All Data
  • Date Range: Last 7 days
  • Data Tiles: Clicks / Installs / Opens / Reinstalls
  • Data Graph: Show Installs Compared by Ad Partner
  • Data Table: Show Clicks / Installs / Opens / Reinstalls Compared by Ad Partner

📘

Number of Records Shown

We will load the top 5,000 records for each event or metric. Some low-volume records may be missing from the displayed analytics when looking at many different compare bys. In particular, data sorted by ascending values may be limited.

To reduce the amount of data fetched, try adding additional filters or looking at a shorter time range. Alternatively, you can export your data using webhooks or our Data Export API.

Modify Date Range

The Summary page automatically loads the last 7 days of data, but can be extended to include the previous 6 months of data.

To modify the date range for which data is populated:

  1. In the upper left-hand corner, under Date Range:
    a. Use the date picker

b. Use the drop-down to select one of the following common date ranges:

  1. Last 3 days
  2. Last 7 days

  1. In the header of the table, in the far-right upper corner, click the three column button.
  2. Select the events and/or metrics of interest to you.

Show/Hide Options

Both the Data Graph and the Data Table include two check boxes to show/hide both Organics and Unique.

Organic

When Organic is checked, unattributed data will show (attributed: false). This data is not attributed to any click or impression, and is the same as "organic" or "direct" data. By default, Organics are left hidden.

Unique

When Unique is checked, these are unique to a user. For example: if 1 user clicks 100 times, it will count as 1. There is no concept of "unique revenue"; "revenue" is always the sum of all purchase events. By default, Unique is shown.

Change Time Interval

Both the Data Graph and the Data Table include the ability to modify the time interval used when displaying the data.

Data Graph

You can modify the Data Graph to visualize the data according to the following time intervals:
