Overview

Remerge is a demand-side platform (DSP) that specializes in mobile app retargeting and re-engagement. Connect Remerge to Branch to attribute clicks and installs and configure postbacks.

Partner capabilities

Before you begin

To set up the Remerge integration, you need:

  Branch's Performance product enabled for your Branch account. Contact your Branch account manager or visit https://branch.io/pricing.

     
   
•        

  A Branch account with access to Configuration > Ad Partners and admin permissions to enable and configure integrations.

     
   
•        

  A Remerge account with admin access.

     

Enable Remerge

To begin, navigate to Configuration > Ad Partners > Remerge.

Remerge doesn't require credentials to activate. The integration is enabled automatically when you select Enable Remerge on the Remerge page.

Configure attribution

To configure attribution windows, select the Attribution windows tab on the Remerge page.

To minimize discrepancies when comparing Branch and Remerge reporting, match your Branch attribution windows to the settings in your Remerge account.

Configure postbacks

Enabling Remerge automatically activates postbacks for INSTALL, OPEN, PURCHASE, ADD_TO_CART, ADD_TO_WISHLIST, VIEW_ITEM, VIEW_ITEMS. The default postback URL template is:

Create a Branch Ad Link

Create a Branch Ad Link to use in your Remerge campaigns. Branch uses the link to attribute clicks and deep link users into your app.

Verify your data

After your integration is connected and events are flowing, you can verify data is reaching Branch:

  In Branch Liveview: confirm that events from your app appear in real time. This is the fastest way to confirm SDK events are firing.

     
   
•        

  In Branch Analysis dashboards: review attributed installs and events where Ad Partner Name = Remerge.

     
   
•        

  In Remerge: confirm that forwarded events are appearing in your Remerge attribution reporting.
